Deepavali is one festival that triggers wonderful memories that tickles all senses - like Omam infused oil that is redolent in the air all morning, the pungent smell of bursting fire crackers, new clothes smelling of starch, yummy sweets and savories, (I made Badam cake, Kasi halwa - made of white pumpkin, Thenkuzhal, wheat crispies) and not to forget the home made leghiyum. Yum. Here's to a bright and sparkly Deepavali that illuminates your life with unbounded joys and Happiness.
